Family Photography at the County Fair!
It’s no secret I love being a family photographer. Family photography is my favorite! I love kids, and I have 2 young kids of my own, so I know how to relate to them. Trick #1- bring balloons and lollipops! When taking pictures with kids, choosing the right location is also important! So when Christa contacted me to take pictures of her family, I knew the county fair was the perfect place to go! The Somerset County Fair is AMAZING! It’s totally free- everything from admission to parking. Located at North Branch Park in Bridgewater, NJ its the perfect backdrop for animals, tents and exhibits. I love the 4H Fair because its fun & educational too!
Is this not the most beautiful family you have ever seen? I am obsessed with their outfits! I loved this bridge and the tractor in the background of these shots. We could have shot around it or chose another location, but I thought it added to the rustic, outdoorsy theme of the shoot!
Adding a few thoughtful props can really take your family session to the next level. I brought this bunch of balloons, a beautiful, handmade quilt and a couple of lollipops to add details and charm to this already amazing session.
