Yay! Our Christmas cards are in the mail! Before I share our final card design, I am so excited to share a few favorites from our session with Erin Witkowski Photo! Erin is basically a mix of photographer, baby whisperer, designer, storyteller and magician! Each year she creates a magical Christmas village at a tree farm in the Hudson Valley. Yes, I made my family drive an hour and a half each way to work with Erin and get these photos and it was totally worth it! So all you husbands complaining about taking family photos this time of year- my husband has it worse! But he was a total champ (thanks, honey! You’re the best!)
Erin was truly a miracle worker, getting Riley to look and even smile. She’s usually our sweet “Smiley Riley” but she was a little under the weather this day. But she couldn’t help but smile when she saw the jingle bells and yes, there was even a pony! It was truly magical and I will treasure these photos forever.
If you are considering family photos- do it! It can be a pain to coordinate outfits and schedules and yes, it is an investment, but it is completely 100% worth it!
