Have you met my friend, Katie, of Katie Bay Beauty? Katie is a hair and make up artist who I love working with on wedding days! She has done so many of my brides including, Chrissy, Lauren, and Jacie! She always does incredible work- just look how stunning these girls were on their wedding day!
Katie is also my go to girl for all things beauty for me! It was so nice to catch up with her yesterday while we got these beautiful Christmas photos of her family. How cute are their outfits?!
I always get asked what to wear to our photo sessions whether its family photos or engagement photos. Here are my top 3 tips to get the most out of your photo session, like Katie and her family did!
- Over Dress
It may feel silly to walk around a local park in high heels and a gown, but I promise this makes the pictures look more high-end and professional. - Professional Hair and Make up
Professional hair and make up may not look like you are used to in person, but it photographs like a dream. - Shoot at Sunset
I cannot stress this one enough. I know it can be difficult to shoot in the evening with young kids but golden hour light (the hour before sunset) is the prettiest time of day and will make a huge difference in your photos!
