Best Baby Shower Ideas
You may remember Kaitlin’s Bridal Shower at Upper Montclair Country Club was featured on Martha Stewart Weddings, Wedding Chicks and even Shutterfly wanted in on the press!
I was so excited when Kaitlin reached out and told me the great news that she was pregnant!
It was obvious this day was going to be gorgeous, but what made this day even more special was that I got to photograph Kaitlin’s bridal shower 2 years ago. I am so blessed to have been there as she celebrates growing her family and prepares to welcome her beautiful baby boy!
We chatted a lot before the shower about her gorgeous vision for the big day. She wanted it to be elegant, yet appropriate for the occasion. I think you’ll agree that Kaitlin and Angi (of Angi & Co Events) struck the perfect balance between sophisticated and whimsical.
Baby Shower Ideas for a Boy
Candles, flowers, and goblets set an elegant ambiance, while handmade signs quoting classic favorites such as Disney and Winnie the poo reminded guests why they were celebrating. Themes of Peter Rabbit were sprinkled through the event and even hand painted onto the cookies and cakes by a slew of talented artists (see below!)
One of my favorite parts was the custom balloon installation by Indie Bee Balloons to decorate the dessert cart which displayed 3 different types of cake.
I also loved the living garden that Blue Jasmine designed. The Madison Hotel is already so beautiful, but this just took it to the next level!
