Time Flies First Birthday Party
I have wanted to share this GORGEOUS first birthday party on the blog forever! All you boy moms out there, fear not! This party is proof that boy parties can be cute too!
I first met Lindsay in 2018 when she and LLG Events hired me to photograph her son, Mario’s Baptism. You may remember seeing the baptism because it was featured on Martha Stewart’s website!
I was obviously excited when Lindsay reached out a few months later about Mario’s first birthday party. When I heard she was also bringing the team from LLG Events back on board I knew it would be an occasion to remember.
The theme of the party was “Time Flies”. Isn’t that the cutest theme for a birthday party? The table centerpieces featured little wooden airplanes suspended by balloons.
Lindsay held the event at their local country club, The Douglaston Club. When you first entered the space, guests were greeted with this incredible dessert table.
Cookies on the table included airplanes, clouds and script with “time flies”.

I love when party hosts plan activities for kids at parties and showers. This is a trend I am seeing a lot at upscale parties!
